What is GCI

Global Citizen of Indonesia is an immigration facility for foreign nationals who have a strong background connection with Indonesia. The final goal is permanent stay permission and an unlimited re-entry permit for applicants who meet the category and requirement criteria.

Why GCI is different
The process is more selective because it includes an interview and inter-agency assessment.
In common visa applications, the process usually focuses on application submission, payment, and internal verification. GCI has an additional layer: applicants must attend an online interview and the application is assessed by an inter-agency evaluation team. Not every applicant needs the same documents. In general, the GCI process requires identity documents, evidence of a relationship with Indonesia, proof of financial capacity or certain guarantees, and other supporting documents based on the selected index.
